i got it in a trade for an old quad. it ran fine when i got it, started right up first or second kick around may 09. it had an oil leak but nothing too major, always made sure it had oil when i rode it. put maybe 20 hours on it then just stopped running. i rode it for about a half hour, hit the kill switch and ten minutes later it wouldnt start and hasnt started since. it has spark, it has compression, the gas is fresh and the stator is putting out juice. i dont know what else to do.

How many hours on it before you put 20hrs on it? How much compression? Do you have an actual psi number?

I had one that year and had to replace a weak stator, but if it has a good strong spark I would check the carb, could be a clogged jet, drain the float bowl first then give it a try ,was it wet when you were last riding? just a little water in the air filter can cause that to happen, i wouldn't think the oil leak has any prudence with it not running, funny mine leaked oil from the right side of the case, had to install new gaskets and screws, ended up spending 1500 on the bike and sold it for 1000, these older ktm 's can be a money pit, if its sparking its almost gotta be fuel delivery, good luck
