I was puttiing the pressure plate back on the clutch and wham, broke a bolt in the hub. I was even using a torque wrench. Will an easy out work? I found some at Sears that you use a drill to screw one part into the broken bolt and turn the easy out around and it has a part that screws the broken part back out. Anybody ever use them? Also where do I get new screws from for the clutch springs? Oh yeah it's for a '01 YZ125

EZ Out is your best hope. Or new Clutch hub. But the EZ out option is usually good. I would buy the set. they are nice to have in case of emergencies like this Tim

i have that craftsman extractor kit you've described. it worked wonders on my carb screws. when i take my clutch apart i just use a ratchet and snug it.
you can try the craftsman set first, if it doesn't pan out you can get an irwin set they work really well

I think the screw may have been just weak because I didn't get it in very far and it broke. I had the torque wrench set at 88in lbs like it says to in the manuel. I guess I'll buy the extractor kit and try it. Thanks for the info.

On most bikes these bolts are made of cheese and I have snapped a few on our kx125.
Re check your manual because you may have read it wrong, most likely 8.8in lbs as our kawa's are around 5in lbs. Finger tight then snug

I got the broken bolt out after fighting with it for an Hour. What a *** I couldn't get it by drilling because the bolt was not flat to drill on. So I laid the bike on it's side and used a flat head screwdriver and hit it with a hammer enough to make a flat spot do unscrew it. I got everything back together but have to move the clutch push lever. I pulled the clutch in and it didn't move enough to engage the clutch. I think I can take the lever off and move it over a couple of teeth, correct? Than I can add oil, coolant, and let'er rip.

Check a parts drawing as some bikes have a ball bearing that sits on the clutch push rod,you may have lost yours if it had one and this will cause the problem with the clutch not disengaging properly.
