Either the wrong basket or the basket you have is machined wrong. Maybe.

Ok, so just got of the phone after a very long call with Ron @ Hinson . We discussed the whole problem and looked at it from a lot of angles.    From what I was told the basket is the same part # for many years of YZ250 all most all the modern ones dateing back to the early 90's,, so the chance of it being just the wrong one seems not likely. The next step i guess would be to look at the output gears and to see if I have the right ones.

Hey Mike is it possible that you took apart the wrong bike? I mean then two blue bikes look exactly the same at certain angles.

Lol well one is 2 troke and other one is 4 stroke, so i doubt he could make such a mistake..lol or who knows.......
