I bought a 1985 CR 500 and someone put the wrong type of radiator fluid in it causing it to eat the aluminum around the propeller. Does any one know how to fix that or where to go to find another right crank case cover other than eBay. Any help would be appreciated greatly.

I know the are some CR500 owners forums. I dont know the forum names, so try a search. You might find a source from one of them.

This will give you your part numbers. When looking up used parts I believe the 85 to 89 models will fit the same.
