Keep in mind it's a 2008 CRF230F. If I need to add anything, to go with these, please let me know. Other wise, let me know if I will have issues with items..or if there is a better alternative..let me know. Thanks!

Renthal R3-2 Gold O-ring Chain(good, bad?)

Do you have any other gear than your helmet? If not, I would get boots and a chest protector before anything else. When's your birthday?

I got boots. I don't think I will get a chest protector, I don't really jump..but right now I'm focusing on the pants at least.

Nov.10th.

Yeah, pants are good, but a chest protector isn't necessarily for jumping. My chest protector has saved me from some pretty bad injuries from trail-riding, and I don`t jump that much, but I think it is a pretty big necessity for off-road. I don`t know anyone who doesn`t have one. JMO, and my b-day is Nov.11th.
Oh, and something I didn`t think I would like SO much is a hydration system. $35 at Costco.

JMO but I'd go for:
- the jersey and pants or at least the pants
- the hand guards
- the helmet cam

Yup, I already have a waterback pack. Great invention, use it everytime I go on a decent trail ride. Alright, I will look into the chest protectors. Thanks.

Hair(Chris, right?) I agree. I think I want to go for the Tachyon XC. Paul has good videos with it, and so does RidingTheRockies. Id like to go-pro, but its bigger..and more expensive, where I want something that doesn't stand out to much, but still looks cool. Bush guards(hand guards, w.e) are something I really want. I have had a few times where I get stuck in a bush, and cant grab my clutch to shift down, or my front brake if need be.

Anyone have any opinions on the chain..or a good chain? I want one that is gold..preferably.

Smash since you dont want to smash your hands get msr deflector shield full wrap (aluminum bar all the way round) *** or flag style what ever there called are kinda worthless with trees they smash your hands worse... remeber if you have OV size bars you need OV mounts for the deflectors

also idk about a chest portector you may be better off with armor like thors impact rig SE they also make a version with short sleeves i have the long sleeve version that way you get fore arm/elbow pads shoulder pads kidney belt(not the best but a rough ride with out it & im pizzing blood) spine protector (removable) as well as a chest guards all for about the cost of a chest protector....

& yea thats a  good chain for you

I looked into Moose ones..but I will look for MSR full wrap around's. My Dad still has his kidney belt from back when he rode..I don't wear one, and haven't yet..and I find no problem, but he says we should get them..so maybe I will look into what your talking about..sounds good. That's a good chain..okay. I just like the looks of the gold chain, and the o-ring stuff.

Lol. Maple..have any real imput? But thanks, I know, it is every year. Lol.

Thanks for the EARLY wish. still a month off bro. either way, I hope I get most of this. Do I need anything special with the grips?

I am hoping to go to Royal Distributing(where most of this stuff is listed), and just be able to buy up most of it

I have the Moose Handguards and Pro Taper Pillowtop grips on my bike.
They're pretty good handguards, and the Pillowtops are really comfy, and reduce fatigue.

Oh, and like Sanders said, if you can get a full suit like that, go for it!

Thanks for the pics! They really show what it looks like..alright. I like the looks of the pillow top, and the feel when I held them in my hand..so I might have to go for those.

Snap on tool box...to my bike? We have lots of tools in the trailer, and like, up north, I packed some of the tools in my bag in case we ran into an issue.
