Hey everybody,

Well my shifter has finally had it . the teeth are finally just worn. Everything else is fine just the shifter partially because it's aluminum. Does ANYBODY and i mean ANYBODY know where to get a new one that's NOT aluminum. it's a simple fix i just the need the part and at this point i dont really give a *** what i pay for it . I've got a race in 2 weeks and 50,000 payout . I need this part bad. i've searched so much on the internet i think i have carpel tunnel ( sorry to anybody who actually has it ) . Any help at all would be VERY appreciated. Oh by the way my bike is a 2002 Husqvarna CR 125. Thanks.

Moose racing makes steel ones, but they don't list your Husky in particular.  You may want to call and see if they have one that would fit.

I jsut put the Moose shifter on my fiances 125 and its holdiing up well. Same issue with the aluminum. I did here that the sunline shifters hold up really well, may want to chek into it.

I had a an aluminum Moose shift lever on my CR, the nut on the bolt that secures the peg got sheered off. I continued to use it until the lever got bent in a crash.

CHUD,

That's my main problem is that the bolt that grips it just keeps coming loose. I'll be ridin around my field or at the MX park and it always seems like about 45 min - an hour into my ride it just falls down by my feet. Thanks for the tips guys i'll check out all the above listed.
