welcome to the board.
i think a ttr 125 or a crf150f would be great bikes for your size. DavidS

That bike would be ok if your real young and a first bike It think. I'm more a honda guy myself so I like the crf 230 better, "even got one for sale, new" . I myself think you will get bored with it fast. You may want to try out a 125 2 stroke first. Give you more power, and lot better suspension if you wish to jump with it or anything. the bike you suggested would be fun also, and be a really reliable bike and low maintenance with it.

Depends mainly on what type of riding you will be doing and on what terrain. Also what type of bike you are most interested in. 2 stroke, 4 stroke, trail bike, race bike. Let us know some more details and we'd love to help you out. Welcome to the board!

well im a little heavier than you but im also 5'4 and I just upgrades from my 2002 xr100r to a 2003 suzuki rm 100. I love it. it has alot of power, and would have a better seat height for you than a 125 2 stroke. Or a crf 150f would be good. it is just a little bigger than the xr 100 i had and i got bored with that really fast. So i would either go for a rm or kx 100 if you want a bike you wont get bored with after your first ride. oh and depending on the money situation a crf 150rb would be a great bike. oh and just remember you wont find many rm 100 cuase they only made them 1 year. Hope i helped.

If you are a new rider i'd go with a crf230. We have another new member here that just got one and he loves it. A 2 stroke 125 at your size would be tough w/no experience. An 80/85 or 100 2 stroke would be a better fit. They are the same size frame as the crf230.

I agree with the 85/100 choice. The 230 is a heavier bike than an 85/100. I think smasher is a bit bigger than jbird.

smasher is 5'9" 200 lbs so probably too big for the 230. hes lovin it though. I believe the crf150 is the same size frame but lighter.

You guys are right, I love mine. It is a little heavy, but I am strong enough to move it out of bushes and such. I am a bit bigger for the bike, but it still hauls, so welcome to the boards. I think he is right, a CRF150F might be better for you size and application. Good luck on choice. Might be better if we knew how you rode.

I would say a CRF150F or CRF230F, but if your gonna be racing, a CRF150R will be good.
