crf 230f bbr linkage and triple clamp

the bbr linkage says it will raise an inch in the heigth. will that make it taller in the rear if you dont put the bbr triple clamp on it?

Yes it will. The linkage doesn't change how the suspension works that much, it just raise th bike to keep the pegs out of ruts. Is that what you want?
