Lucky you Court! We already had snow up in the mountains! Even if I could ride there isn't much time to do it here. Enjoy yourself, I love camping.

Woohoo, have fun! I know I'm excited too!

This means whether I like it or not (which I LOVE it), I'll be in the desert all the time. I'm actually going on a spontaneous first/last river trip of the season this weekend, my friends are taking me along! I think I'm going to learn to wakeskate, ahhh!

Well be safe and have a great time, Courtney!

103 degrees Fahrenheit is not ideal riding weather.  However, it's more ideal than being at home for the weekend, so my dad and brother, Corey, and I headed out to Cal City for the weekend  We went to our normal spot and met up with our buddy Tom and his dad, Glen, our friend Timmy (not my dad), and our friend Matt and his friend Nick.  Friday afternoon, Corey, Tom and I decided to goof off and go riding for a bit.  It was Timmy's first time back on a bike in 1 year and a half so we were helping him get used to everything.  He was a bit squirrely and went back to camp so Corey and Tom and I got to play "follow the leader".  Always fun because Tom picks rock piles to go over  After we got back we spend the rest of the night hanging out and and changing Corey's rear tire.

Saturday we went on a play ride out and about with Matt and Nick.  Found some hills to climb and some rocks to conquer.  Tom looped out on this one hill and broke his sprocket so we had to end our little morning ride a little short to fix it.  My dad brought his XR650 to work on while we rode so he had something to do.  We hung at camp for a few hours and then went on our little normal ride to our favorite Mexican restaurant.  Dad rode in Glen's Polaris Razor and the rest of us took our bikes.    It was a great time.  The rest of the night was just hanging under the stars in the warm desert air.  It was perfection.  It's so amazingly beautiful out there.
