i recently changed the fork and dust seals on my 2004 cr125 and now i need to do it on my 2001kx85. Are the forks the same exact way. I believe the 125 is a catridge type fork. I no there are differnt styles of forks and some are easier and harder to change the seals on. Does anyone know if the 2004cr125 and the 2001kx85 has the same forks or if it will be the same process.

as far as I know the process is similar, you have the showa dual chambers on the cr and KYB single chamber on the lil KX. I cant imagine them being harder than the showas. give it a shot and take some pics for us.

Alright well my biggest ? This below is the video i used when doing my cr
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y43k1qFVGW4 part 1 and 2 i followed all of this and it was cake and that is what my forks were.
There is another motosport video below which is alot harder of a fork to mess with, Does my kx have this kind or not. I am hoping its the same as the cr forks above.

Ahh! the kx85 forks should be very close (procedure wise) to the first series of vids.
the 2nd series shows the dual chamber forks that i thought your honda would have.
