kbc helmets?

so when i bought my bike the guy threw in a couple of kbc helmets, i guess that's the brand that super bike guy uses, since the star logos match up, but how good are they? and are they expensive, i mean, he just gave to me with a pair of boots

the thing you want to look at with helmets is whether they are dot/snell aproved. brand and price doesnt matter as much as the safety ratings.

so would that be on the rim or inside the helmet?

Are they new or used? If used just give them a good looking over to see if it looks like they have been in any good hits or crashes. Helmets are basically disposable once they have had a hard hit.

they will either be stamped inside or on the bottom of the back of the helmet

they look like they're in great condition, hardly a scratch, and thnx for the info on the stamp
