Hey ZR2 there are several of us who frequent Baja.  I love riding that track, as well as Pop and his family and PinIt.  If you do a search on the subject you will even find a couple of great writeups we have done on our days at the track accompanied by pics too.

I have not been there in some time, but I will probably find myself crashing on the sandy track again before the snow flies.

What other tracks do you frequent?  Have you rode at the Sandbox, or Freelyn yet?

We were just there Saturday and going back next Sunday, its the last time we will get to ride BAJA before the Cali 24 hour GH race. Its a great track for a hard workout.

We will see you there, right bill?

Would love to see ya there ZR2 but you will be on the track at different times, they keep the classes of bikes seperate.

Sundays are hard for me Pop.  My ex is usually working and it is a school night so I can't be out late.  Saturdays are much better for me to go riding.  Mondays are the best option period.  I think you need to get more trail time in before the 24 hour.  The longer ride times and high trail speeds could be beneficial.

No time to ride to the trails cause im working right now.
BAJA is like riding trails at the track, up and down the big hills and it beats the crap out of ya.
At almost 2 miles per lap with a hard out ride your doing 10 to 12 miles in 20 min.
You can go all out at the track for a good workout, everyone is going the same way, theres no resting for the whole time out.

Ok cool guys! Hope to see you there sometime, did you guys go to the baja brawl? Man it was packed! Had fun watching the races. I am trying to sell my KTM 85 SX as fast as possible for a 125. But I will be going up on the 27th(Sunday, hope fully) If you see a KTM 85 SX with the number plate 88 stop by and say hi! And PS: I hate the new track style, it sucks!

We are going up there also the 27th. My grandson is going with us so we will be parking over by the small track. We have yz250f's #14 and #58.

Might be a couple other guys with us to, not sure yet. I talked my wife and daughter into going so they can see my grandson Skyler ride without his training wheels and see taking them off was the right thing to do.lol Hope he dose gopd so I can get out of the dog house, well thats another story.

The new layout is tough but one good workout. The saying is "if you can ride BAJA you can ride anything".

I agree, the new layout isn't as good. I will be up north this weekend, but plan on racing Baja the next weekend.

I dont understand the reason for the new layout. It is so sandy and up hill you can hardly get to the top let alone get any air. Maybe they need that far turn for something else.

Anyways, enjoy yourself up north. Your going to miss out on a good barbaque, the wife is coming and she is doing the cooking. Dont get any better then that.

You taking bill with ya?
