First of all im 16, about 6'0 tall, 175 pounds, and I am really wanting to get into riding. Ive ridin a couple of my friends bikes and i really liked it. I live out in west texas, so ill be ridin on trails and over pastures. What is the best bike for me?

What are your buddies bikes that youve ridin????  Bein new i wouldnt go to a big bike like a 450.  A bike alot of guys over look is  the xr400 i think that may be a great bike for you.  But i need to know more,  is there alot of tree your ridin through or what kind of trails???

I would go with a 125 2 stroke or 250f.  


2 strokin till I die. Which I hope aint soon.

I would say a two stroke would be more fun on pastures, given they are flat. That would be my choice. Yamaha would be a great choice, Honda is good as well. KTM if you have the money.

what kind of money?

if your not loaded, you will need to pick one based on price and proximity to your home.

If you are good at fixing things it will help. You will need an open mind and a positive attitude towards learning...If you do you will have a life long passion for two wheeled fun.
