i live in fox lake il and am looking for some places and people to ride with...crazier the better haha. so far it looks like the closest place to go is Rocky Glen ohv park in rockford...any other recommendations? im looking to try to go to Rocky Glen this coming weekend if all goes well. so, any riders want to meet up and do some riding...

I'm probably done riding for the year but who knows. I was at rocky glen earlier this year and its an OK place at best. Lots of gravel and sand. Spazmoso has a thread in the General Discussion forum about meeting at Badlands in Indiana this Sunday. He swears by the place and goes there all the time.

Not completely sure, I will most likely be back for the summer if I don't get accepted to summer school. Even if I do I will be back for at least a couple weeks at the beginning of the summer.

sounds like you guys are done for the season...well we will have to try n do some riding next summer. im going to rocky glen for the last 4-5hrs they are open tomorrow...if its not raining like crazy.

Hope you get some good weather. Once March rolls around we can start talking about getting a ride goin. I've got a lot goin on these days so probably won't ride again. Give us an update if you go gryzz and maybe some pics if you get a chance.

well...just took my first trip to Rocky Glen OHV park. i thought it was sick! however cuz it rained so much lately it was very muddy lol so it slowed things down a bit. im going back on monday. i plan on riding all day. they said they should be open... i cant figure out how to post pics from my comp...i think my brain is a little scrambled from biff'n on the island haha

you guys already done ridin for the year? just dress for the season. my son and I ride almost year round. coldest part is your neck. I cut the sleeve off a long sleeve t-shirt and pull it over my head. keep it over your eyes cause when the helmet goes down it pulls it down just right. If you all ever get down near st.louis MO st.joe state park bout 1hr. south is one of the best trail rides I seen. cost $5 a head. cant beat that for a day of fun.

I'm going to St. Joes next weekend!! I hope its not too cold. Is it $5 or $3? I think the website says 3.

the cliffs in marsellies il fox valley off road in ottawa il rocky glen in rockford il bong recreation in wisconson and last but not least the bad lands in attica indiana.thats as far as ill drive without making a long weekend for riding im from the northwest burbs out a chi-town

no they have three loops at a couple of miles long and a flat dirt track the trails are o k but the flat track gets loose so it takes you by surprise you start to drift the complete rear end wash out we get bored and bet on the first one whos gonna go down

Bong is cool. i have not been to it in like 5yrs. i called and the trails are closed until Nov. sometime..."maintenance" or some bs! Well looks like rain for tomorrow...i think it rains every time i want to ride...WTF!
