Ha, thanks for noticing, daggit! Alexander Smith and I did end up getting third in the team class this year, and boy was it wild! We've got a sweet feature from the event coming soon in the January issue of DR. Wait until you see the photos....chaos!

I've seen bits of video clips of the Romaniacs here and there and it's one tough race! Getting third place is certainly an achievement.

I look forward to reading the story in DR mag.

The river mishap was actually my teammate in the expert team class, Alexander Smith. Jimmy ducked out after day one due to smashing his GPS and being super beat up. He was riding the pro loop, which is a lot harder than expert, which is much harder than hobby, which is about on par with an A-level enduro. The whole race is one swift kick in the crotch!  

From what I've seen/read/heard it was INSANE!! Definitely a big congrats to Chris & Alexander!

Chris still doesn't look quite right. We tested off-road last week and he kept asking me what my blood type was. I don't get it.

Great job Chris! I think just finishing that thing is a triumph, but getting 3rd is crazy.
