What do they do and are they worth it for a YZ125? Also are they something that works even better when your bike is modded out? does this reduce bikes reliability?
P.S. are these better than fmf reeds because fmf reeds are cheaper

your adding a little throttle response and some more air into the bike. I just got one and it seems to work fine, I do notice a bit more throttle response. There are better mods for your bike but this is one I am still testing and trying to find the difference. I am going to put the stock back in to try and gauge the two.

There is some benefit to reed cages as well as aftermarket pipes. The V force cage, buy design, will improve low end and throttle response, the newer versions have been modified to have more affect on top end than the original. However, if you want more out of your bike I would first get it ported and polished. That is the best bang for your buck. A good engine tuner can set it up to be more reliable and to work where you live and for your abilities on either pump or race gas. You just tell them what you want.
I like ericgorr.com he is about as good an engine tuner as you can find at a good price.
