i stripped my shifter shaft on my 1999 YZ 125, it needs replacing, can anyone help me with gasket kits and parts like that i would need.

quick fix is to drill through the shifter and shaft put a nut and bolt with threadlock.replace later!

The shifter that was on your bike, was it a aluminum?

You will need a new shift shaft, case cover gaskets and the new Oil seal that the shift shaft goes through. It is an easy job. Shouldn't cost more then 30 bucks.
