im looking to get myself a 250 four stroke soon. i think im going to try to get an 07 or newer. i would like to get a nice honda. what do you guys think the best 250 is? im sure they are all pretty even and it wouldnt matter much what one i got but im just curious. just out of Honda Yamaha Kawi Suzuki and KTM

I like the Yamaha. We have had 3 of them and all were good.

yea, i hear good things about yamaha. i heard they are kinda top heavy which i think the rider will get used to. i think im leaning for the honda becuase they are pretty reliable. all accept the 2004 crf250r with the oil pump problems.

Have you read all the tests and shootouts? We have a lot of reading here on the website. Check the main page under bike tests.
We put a lot of effort into getting that info, so please use it to help your decision. All the bikes are good, but they all have a different personality.

i'm thinking about a 2010 rmz 250 whenever we get some of them. the aussies have them

search the DR site for first ride 07 , that will tell you the good stuff about it.
Then search first ride 08 that will tell you all the bad stuff about the 07 that got changed in 08.
