How To Be A Dirt Rider Test Rider
A Step-By-Step Guide To Landing The Dirtiest (Cool) Job In The Industry

"So you want to be a Dirt Rider test rider? Of course you do! From the outside, a gig testing for the magazine appears to be one of the cushiest jobs in the industry. Where else do you get to ride the latest bikes on private tracks while wearing fresh, free riding gear? Yet despite all the apparent perks, being a test rider for a magazine like DR is actually a tough job that requires dedication, persistence and more than a little luck. The purpose of this article is to demystify some of the false notions surrounding the gig of the Dirt Rider test rider and to tell you how to become one-if, that is, you're still interested in doing so after hearing what getting in those glamorous photos really entails!" it would be a cool gig if you could turn it on and off, ride when you wanted.too much of a good thing becomes a job, when your doing it for someone else.and other reasons than just to do it.

Do you ever need any real old test riders to see what the bikes might do to them.

Alex, when I first read this in the mag I thought of you.  If you could get hooked up with this it would be a great way to gain experience and really learn the "language".
While you don't have a lot of time on different bikes you also haven't become set in your ways.
I would really try to get into this if I was in your shoes.

I hoped you get picked as well Alex, but have you followed the advice and written an opinion piece on your 250f?  Hoping won't make it happen.  The editors laid the process for you - now go for it!!
