okay guys here is the deal... over thanksgiving i am going to Pennsylvania and usually there is snow... im from florida and ive never ridin in snow o if you have any tips on riding and gear i want to hear them

i wear what i normally wear.. logging boots levi's & a car hart jacket.. sit up the  back end gonna get squirelly let it! dont put your feet down except to turn youll just lose your balance.. keep & maitain speed. easy on the gas & ride a gear hi if you can

thanks sanders... i have the carhart jacket, that thing keeps you real toasty.
its pretty similar to sand i guess? any other input still appreciated

im from maine and i ride all year round. here its gettin muddy n soft, so the best advice i can give ya is heavy duty rain pants, and plenty of dry gloves. a dry towel in a back pack wont hurt for sure.  tear it up

The best way i could describe it is like when you are driving through mud..and after your treads are filled with mud and you have NO traction..Just keep a steady throttle and have fun!

ya i know but you werent projected to last year and where i was there was a good 2 to 2 1/2 ft on the ground, i just want to make sure im ready for it im hoping for 2-3inches of wet snow... perfect for tracking

EDIT: i just checked weather its been 30-45 degrees for the last week or two, uncle says he has already seen a few flakes

im a BIG time skier... you have to love getting fresh tracks and being first on the slopes (or trails!) for the day

  quazy- i hate snowboarder "stereotypes" if your out there doing your own thing whatever, but if your re-enforcing the stereotype STOP SITTING OR WALKING DOWN DOUBLE BLACKS for real i cant stand that
