40:1 is a leaner oil fuel mixture that 32:1 is.
If anything, 40:1 will clean the bike out or at least burn a plug waaaaay before 32:1 will.

Changing your mix ratio is poor practice to fix jetting. However, 32:1 is Leaner then 40:1...Daggit is correct.

Do the simple things first, clean the filter, check compression, clean carb...

a mix of 32:1 in the can is more rich than 40:1 is. its more oil to one gallon of gas. if you are talking about fuel to air than yes, he is right.

look at a ratio rite if you dont get what i'm saying.

or is possible that we mean the same thing but we just have different ways of explaining it. i know ive gotten into a few heated arguments on this board about it lol. im not calling anyone out or anything i am just going by the ratio says and that thing has never failed me

We are thinking of the same thing, but more oil will make the bike run leaner...

You ever sell your truck?

just get a service manual and it can walk you through just about anything. it can even help you out on your jetting. i would first do a compression test the since you dont have to take anything apart to check that
