I'm installing a FMF Gnarly on my 2004 300 EXC. Can anyone tell me what jetting changes i need to make? Everything on the bike is stock and it runs absolutely perfectly. But I crushed the pipe and am replacing it with the Gnarly.
If no one has the jetting info I would appreciate any advice you could give on where I could go on the web to get it. Thanks all. Happy trails.

should not change the jetting actually, pretty sure it stays the same, but use the FMF site as posted.

Thanks for the help on the FMF site. I tried it and it doesnt even ask you what pipe your installing just the Bike info. My local KTM dealer feels that there is about $80-$120 in carb changes to be made. I'm going to try and see if I can get them to tell me what the changes are but they may not want to turn business away.

I agree, run it like it is and work from there.  You can get all the help you need here to get it right without paying for labor.

I have the 2005 300EXC, and put on the FMF Gnarly after I cracked my stock pipe.  The jetting stayed the same.  Go ahead and ride it like it is, and get back to us about it.  I can help you out on the jetting questions

Just fitted the Fmf sxs factory pipe to our 09 sx250 and the jetting stayed the same.

Pilot may need to go lower but it is basically spot on as stock.

I rang around 3 Ktm dealers to enquire about any jetting changes (uk) and was told leave it stock.

You can call FMF directly and one of their shop techs will help you with any questions. But you need to tell them the basic answers when they ask, such as it is stock and they will ask you how many feet above sea level are you. Things like that. They help me when I had problems a while back.
