1998 cr125 carb.problems

I have a 1998 cr125.It has a new top-end but will not run unless the choke is on full & it goes threw plugs like crazy.What cotld it be i was thinking jets?

clean the carb.. the pilot jet is plugged, remove the carb and completely clean every jet with carb cleaner and compressed air.

thanks for the advise i did what you said but i put new jets in.the jets were totally pluged just got into 2-strokes thanks again

I also have a 1999 kx125.I put new vforce reeds in. You wouldnt happen to know what the best jet size would be bye chance.thanks..

here is Pro Circuts jetting chart use that as a starting point if your elivation is close to sea level. jetting is somewhat machine specific meaning, what works in 1 bike may not be the best in another identical bike

there has been some really good jetting threads here in the past.. do some searching so you can fine tune the bike for your specific setup.
