Ok its been 2 years since i had a bike, and just wanted a little 80 to rip on.. I have a couple questions though.. 1. What do i mix the gas with 32:1 and can the gas be 89 octane, also how much like a cap full of oil to every gallon etc.. thanks. 2. The bike wont start on a cold start i need to pop start it, warm it up, then itll start form a kick but still takes like 5 kicks. Theres smoke coming out of the pipe, more than normal too, and the bike will shut off in a couple seconds if you dont keep it revved. Could it be the kid doesnt mix gas right or the spark plug was all i can think of.. The bike hase pro circuit pipes, and aftermarket air filter is all i can tell for mods, and it rides good power band kicks pretty hard, so can figure it out.. and one last question 3. When it sits there idling i can feel a movement or clunking in the engine slightly no noise but may be cus its cold. other than that bikes mint lol so any help would be great thanks.. OO and are reeds a good power investment?? later..

Use the highest octane gas you can find. Use the 32:1 ratio which comes to 4 ounces of premix to every gallon of gas. You need to use premix made for motorcycles. Don't use the stuff you see at Sears for snowblowers. When starting the bike cold you need to pull up the choke and kick it without twisting the throttle. Once it starts turn the choke off and keep giving the throttle small blips for a few minutes till the engine warms up. If you have a lot of smoke coming out it could be from a dirty air filter or too much premix. If you don't ride the bike hard you could be getting build-up in the pipe which will also cause it to smako excessively so always ride it hard. You should be using a br10eg spark plug and you may need to rejet the bike due to the aftermarket pipe but we'll have to have someone else chime in on that one. I'm not sure I understand the movement/clunking you're describing. Is this something you only hear at idle?

I would give the carb a good cleaning also, and use a new plug.

You can buy it at any Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki or KTM dealer. Just ask the staff there and they will give you the right stuff.

Check your compression, before you spend money on aftermarket parts.

You can pick one up at Sears or any auto parts store. You just have to make sure it has the flexible hose on it so you can manuever it into place. Here's a link to one at Sears.
