ttr 90 stalls after start up

My sons 2003 ttr90 starts up immeadiately on choke then dies out as soon as you turn the throttle.
I went to check the air filter and it was a dissolved and a rotted mess. Any chance filter material
got in carb? I blew out air intake and need to get a new filter. It is still staling out with no filter in place.
Should i clean carb?

deffinatly clean the carb very well and get a new spark plug and fresh gas as well.

Thanks for advice haven't done small carb cleaning but seems pretty straightforward.

Yeah, cleaning it is pretty straighfoward. It would have to be because I cleaned my first one ever just last weekend and had no problems at all. Good Luck!
