race fee , Thanks Lori

I have spoken out in the past about the high race fees and how the riders were not getting any break from the industry.

Now it is time to eat crow.

We collected $615 for the race, some in cash some in trades,  such as Six paid my share of the toy hauler and I paid his race fee. It also includes money Mark and Hair kicked in.  

Anyway
The 2 race fees and gas, transponder rentals and food was over $1,000 EZ
Lori and the people at Glen Helen waived one entry fee, saving us $400.
I can not thank Lori, Glen Helen, Dirt Rider, and the rest of the Industry enough for sticking my foot into my mouth. lol
I also want to thank Pop, Hair, and Mark for kicking in to make it happen.

Did they mention why they waived the fee? I'm just curious if it was since we were kind of riding for autism speaks. Either way, it's very cool of them to do that.

I guess the best way to thank them is to continue to bring up how cool the race was and how well organized the event ran. not to mention the fun factor.

same goes for all the other sponsors that DR helped secure for help/parts on the bike.

Daggit, glad to help!  If you get an AS IS promo video done up let me know how to get one for my wife, she feels it would be a great way to bring additional attention to an important subject and would like to show it to the teachers and students at her school.
