Take the fabric off to expose the foam, then make marks on where you want to cut, then cut away, use something to file it to a smooth finish, then put the fabric back on.

Sandpaper, a thick grid. Put it on a sanding block to shave it. To cut it, maybe an electric turkey cutter? IDK bro, be creative, it's only foam. Take the staples out that are under the seat holding the foam, when you are done, you need to put the staples back in, if you dont have one, go to home depot and get a cheapy heavy duty stapler. Ask moms for the turkey cutter and start hackin!
