So here I am looking for a number and manage to find one and I call it and the guy was nice and transferred me to the correct number. I polite woman named Dana answered and I told her that I'd ordered the magazine in August and had been billed on my credit card for it as of August but still haven't received it in the mail.....that's over 8 weeks since I ordered it...about 11 weeks. So Dana informed me that when an order was made in August or after that they didn't start the subsciption till January the next year and I would only receive a magazine in December. I was like OMG don't you think you should inform people of this before they pay?? That would mean I'd still have to wait 3 months after I was billed till I even received the mag and the 2 other mags I ordered at the same time! A total  of 5 months or 20 weeks from the time I ordered it!! So anyways Dana didn't know what to say so she said she would look into trying to send me a mag early and I was happy and thanked her and said goodbye and hungup and sat there completely flabergasted. So anyways.....ya....not sure wat to say...wish I would've known how long it would take to ship.....would've saved me alot of annoyance

That is strange, I haven't even heard of that. It's a whole different department that deals with subscriptions. I'm sorry you have had to wait. I thought I left you the subscription phone # in your last thread, I can't find it though so maybe it was someone else's thread.

Oh wait, found it: http://forums.dirtrider.com/70/7854070/general-discussion/still-havent-got-my-mag-in-the-mail/index.html. Is that the number that you called? Just want to make sure my info is up-to-date.

Sorry to hear that! I've had that issue with other mag subscriptions in the past. Hope you get it sooner.

crud, I order my subscription two weeks ago under the same thought as you...wait 4-6 weeks (as the subscription page said) and then start recieving mags. Not a big deal in my case as it would be right at about the December issue when I start recieving the magazines. But they really should revise that. IMO

That is odd. They should have bike owners working the subscriptions and they would understand how important these things are.

I actually called the number at the top of the page for the site that handles the digital subscriptions MissLovell then the guy transfered me to the Dirt Rider number so I didn't call the right place.....I'm not sure what the actual number is.

and ya dag...they should have an army of people handling my subscsription and hand delivering it to my house every month because the balance of all that is good in my world of dirt biking is relying on them DAMNIT! *leafs thru old issues of Good Housekeeping and Readers Digest with an annoyed look on his face*
