1989 rmx 250 nightmare!!!

first off let me say hi guys im new to the forum........so i traded a truck i got for 600 bucks RUNNING for a 89 rmx 250 the guy started it and i heard it run he then took the carb off and gave me a carb i had to rebuild..... .. i had to get anew rear sprocket new front and rear tires. exhaust seals piston and rings and now that i opened th top end the rod moves on the shaft left to right about a half an inch i dont think it shoud be doing that..... im hoping to have the bike running within the next week or so.. unless somehting lse goes worng....
also i wanted to ask does anyone know where i can find a online manual for this bike??? thanks guys

RepairManual.com has a manual for that bike.
