Reeds or Pipe?

I have a 2003 KX125, I have been wanting to get a 250f or 250 2t but as a 16 year old the checkbook does not always allow . So I want to give my 125 some more power. I was wondering what would be better between a new exhaust or some v-force reeds. I have a Turbinecore II pipe on it already. I ride track only, and our track is pretty tight, not many straights. Help would be awesome!

A pipe will have more influence on the power band than reeds however I'm a firm believer in getting the engine ported before adding a pipe or reed valve. The cost is about the same as a pipe.
You can get it ported to match your ability, track conditions and altitude without using race gas or reducing reliability. If you go with a high compression mod that is a different story.
I like http://ericgorr.com/ he does a good job and is able to give you any level of engine build you want.
