Thinking of Buying a Dirt bike

I recently moved to an area where there is a bunch of open land 2 minutes away from my house.  I have never rode a dirt bike.  As a teen I did a ton of mountain biking which I do not know if that will help any. I think it might because I did some serious single tracking that required a ton of balance.  I even got up to speeds of 45mph on some down hills.  I have a few questions.

I am about 5'9" and 145 lbs (I am 28 years old and will not be growing anymore).  I intended on wanting to do some fun trail riding.  Do you think a Kawasaki KLX 140 would be a good choice?   The other bike I am looking at is the Honda CRF 230F.  The 230 is about $1000 more.  I have watched some youtube videos of the KLX 140 and it looks like plenty of bike for me or would it be better to invest a little more in the 230?  Like I said I mostly want to do fun trail riding and nothing too serious.

Should I get a trailer? I really plan on just riding out my door and down the street to the open land by my house.  If I do not plan on riding else where would I still need a trailer? If not maybe I could get the dealership to just deliver my bike to my house for me. If I don't really need a trailer I rather wait. If I got a trailer would a 40" X 48" trailer be large enough to fit one bike on?  It seems a trailer, hitch and installation would run about $500. I was looking at this trailer below  Any recommendations on other trailers.  Uhaul said they could instal a hitch on my car for about $330.

Trailer I was looking at:

How much maintenance is required on a 4 stroke dirt bike? How often would I need to bring it to a shop?  This will kind of determine if I need a trailer or not.

This is an odd question but I would be riding alone.  What happens if your dirt bike brakes down and wont start 15 miles away from your house?  Do you just spend hours pushing it back?  Is this not very likely if I buy a new bike?

How do I learn to ride?  Will the dealership usually give me a class on how to ride?  I already can drive a manual car and actually I have a class A truck drivers license and can even double clutch.  I watched some youtube videos on learning to ride.  Could I teach myself?

Any other things to consider?  Thank you

Hahaha na man the guys at the dealership dont teach u how to ride u just learn, and u can put the bike in the back of a truck, and u will only need to change the oil every 2 or 3 hours of ridin, check chain slack every ride, check air filter every other ride, and clean the bike when u know its dirty. Now as far as bike selection goes i think a CRF230F would be best for u, a KLX140 would be small for u,Ive heard nothing but good things about both bikes i just think u would enjoy a CRF230F much more.
